Mo Harawe est né en 1992 à Mogadiscio. Il étudie la communication visuelle et le cinéma. Il vit en Autriche depuis 2009. Il réalise plusieurs courts métrages qui sont montrés dans différents festivals internationaux dont The story of the polar bear that wanted to go to Africa (2018), Life on the horn (2020).
